Around here, it's like 12 cents per kwh for the regular plan and price goes up if you use over 1000 kwh per month and even more over 2000 kwh.
I have a peak/off-peak plan where I pay 5.3 cents per kwh nights, weekends and holidays. Peak is about 8 hour per work day and 14 hours off peak.
Peak is 17 cents per kwh right now and off peak 5.3 cents per kwh

Summer is 11 cents per kWh. Right now it is 9 cents a kWh, lowers to 7 cents after 500 kph and 3.9 cents after 1200 kWH. If we signed up for the off peak it is from 8 PM to 7 AM at 50% off pricing. All other kWh are billed at 140% of the regular rates.
I've got to do some math but it would seem to me cheaper to keep what we have.
