I know!!! I want to leave, but I like the people who are left that I work with. But they are generally much less experienced in this area. Now if they bring their yes man supervisor in I'll probably be silenced. I'm also almost 59, so looking for another job in the fields I'm experienced in would require me to move and may be difficult to get hired on. Many people here have left and gone to TVA or Oakridge. At 59 though I don't know that they even consider me.
Maybe I'll just retire early and volunteer with the VA. The house is paid for and I have 0 debt, we can survive on mine and my wifes military retirement, she also still works for SSA. So I just don't know 100% what to do right now, I don't want my emotions make me come to a decision. I have to wait till I'm not pissed off and decide.
Edit: They also just gave me a 12% pay raise.
