Drove a '16 Unlimited to Eugene a few weeks ago (about 100 miles). Not car comfort, but they've come a long way from the primitive 70's version. I'd think hard about owning one again... in a few years. Wife is still getting over the new Charger R/T in my side of the garage.  |
That's exactly what I had, a CJ5 with the 3speed, 304. Went like stink, but you'd risk your life coming off an off ramp at speed, or going around a corner with any kind of speed. Made it through quite a few two wheels up change your underwear type situations. My g/f refused to ride in it after I jumped off a snowbank with it....
