Back when I used to frequent the bars, most of the bartenders around here knew how to make them. The ones that didn't were always waiting for the punchline when asked if they knew how to make a duck fart.
The more widely-known B-52 shot is about the same thing, using Grand Marnier instead of Crown Royal.
