Growing up, we always had a handful of cats at any given time. Once in a while, a stray cat would decide we were it's new home, often with a belly full of kittens. My Mom told us God sent them to our home, so they would be loved and cared for - and we did just that. The momma cat would always stick around, and sometimes we'd keep a kitten while finding homes for the rest. Some of my best pet buds were the ones that found us. We couldn't convert the strays to full time indoor either, and cars claimed the lives of a couple
