The point is, he points out the problems Americans are facing and addresses how he would do something about it. Take coal country. Hillary goes there and pretty much tells the people who still have jobs in the coal industry that she wants to put them all out of work. Trump tells them that the US needs to be energy independent, so he wants coal production to continue. If you put this rag-tag group of policy issues together, you get a stronger US, which is good for all of us, even if your state does not produce coal, or your state isn't flooded with illegals......yet.
Populist platform? Absolutely. Nonsense? Why is it so wrong to put America first for a change? Tell the coal miner or coal mine owner it's nonsense when Hillary's EPA shutters the plant. Tell the school kids it's nonsense when they can't get a good education because illegal alien kids are soaking up all the tax money.
