My settings allow my page to be seen by friends only unless I change that for a specific reason OR I reply to a public page or a shared age. Aside from that idiotic amount of ads, I don't feel any invasion of my privacy. It allows me to communicate and get updates from people that I might not otherwise hear from or may not hear from me.
I'm not going to make a call to 5 friends to say I'm having a great dinner in Cabo, but I'll post it and if they care, they'll acknowledge. If they don't care, they won't. It's an economy of time., I can post when I want, they can read when they want. It's not all that different than this forum actually.
