Senior Military Leadership will always say that line. Once you serve about 12 years and the cycle of BS stories reach its limit we start to guess what happened, what will happen and predict the future.
Becoming an asshole to prevent future stupid thing from happen works. It keeps the phone from ringing, waisting hours at the COs or Command Deck office.
Bryan, imagine your CO with 20+ of experience knowing all the BS that will happen once they pulled to the port of any country.
