My manager is awesome, and worked side-by-side with me on the last gig. He's only been with the company since the end of last year. His boss is my old manager, and he's the one that's been communicating with me about this project. A quote from him: "No messing around on this project man, we sold you real hard." I read this as a huge compliment. My employer knows I can get the job done, and they used my history and ability to close the project change order to reboot the project, and deliver by this July. My new project manager couldn't believe I worked 74 hours last week. 74? Seriously? That was a vacation.
