Of course, the furnace decided to Peter out yesterday. In typical fashion, like my dad raised me, I decided to try to diagnose and fix it myself. 4 flashing red light indicated limit switch was bad. Cool, “I got this” I said, Off to Locke supply I went, was so proud of myself. Got home, installed new part. Chit… wasn’t the issue.
$375 later the REAL professional determined the entire board was toasted. We had replaced that over 11 years ago. Gotta love a Trane. He said the old ones are great but the new ones are terrible.
I’ll stick to treating humans. Don’t think I have a future in H&A.
