You confused me a bit here. Stock C5 is 8.5 fronts and stock C5Z is 9.5.
Stock tires for C5Z since this is a 9.5 is a 265/40/17 tire. Offset will be fine.
You can put a 275/40/17 on a 9.5" wheel.
