Fairly simple:

large crock pot
2 packs of Goya 16 bean mix
2 qts of vegetable broth
2 cans of diced tomatos
1 cup chopped onions
1 cup chopped celery
2 7oz ham slices, diced

Pre-soak beans the evening before cooking.

Combine all ingredients the evening before serving, cook on low throughout the night. Stir occasionally when you can.

For seasoning, hold off until tasted the next morning, you may not need salt, the ham will infuse the ingredients.

After the taste test, I added a little garlic salt, black pepper, and some red pepper flakes.

Good with fresh Italian bread and butter.
