We are "hoping" we can replace a piston, appears to be valve that stuck causing problem.
Apparently removing bonnet and replacing is a major PITA, as is everything with this freakin' car. So we are trying to avoid it.
Would NEVER own a British vehicle again. Now I know why some despise Land Rovers etc, always in the shop. After I seel the Jag, I'm DONE.
AND.....
The 68' is painted, weather-stripping and interior going in, getting new treads on and should be ready by Sept/Oct.
