Here's the last photo taken with my first nice camera. It's not a very good shot... focus is soft, etc. I was using a tripod with the camera only 1.5-2 feet or so above the sand to get nice reflections of the sun and clouds as the waves receded. I was a couple feet beyond where the waves were washing up and no waves had gotten too close to the camera. I snapped this one and turned to get a cleaning cloth from my bag on a rock behind me and a second later the wave in the photo rolled in and I was up to my knees in water. Turned around and the camera was still above the water but as the wave receded the tripod, just out of my reach, tipped and my Canon and a really nice wide angle lens went swimming. Last photo for either.

Guy from the Fly Over learned: Do not turn your back on waves.

Anyway here's my Canon 50d's last gasp...
