We are up to a bit over 1200 blu ray/4K titles.

Streaming is really convenient when the movie we want to watch is available.
But there is no replacement for physical media IMO, particularly when viewing on a larger screen and/or in a dedicated theater with good audio.

The lossless audio on blu rays is really worthwhile for many movies. You don't have to be an audiophile.... err fool, to appreciate the greater bit depth.

Streaming in a good theater is largely lifeless by comparison but I know that's not everyone's cup of tea.

We built a dedicated theater in the basement with a 165" screen, 4K HDR in a 7.2.2 setup. (final .2 is discreet Atmos height channels)
Having physical media really makes it sound incredible and is very immersive/engaging.
