Well set up speakers can fix that problem.
Hell, these days most towers have sensitivity in the 91+ dB range. Can drive them with a small integrated if budget is a concern.

High percentage of loss? Both ears?
Technology has come a long way in the audiology department.

Not that there's any need to hear much above 15kHz but you should still be able to enjoy music if possible.

Music is great therapy for me.
