I had a hurst for 3 years in my old Z06 before moving to the C6Z unit. It's a good drag racing shifter because the 2-3 shift is automatic, but it gets really old for daily driving and the stiff centering force isn't what you want on a road course. When you're trying to make that 4-5 shift at 140+ the last thing you want is the shifter trying to pull itself back center and make you hit 3rd... that's bad.... very bad!
