Not knowing how (or if) they backed up & then replaced your hard drive, I'd agree that you likely need to log in to whatever sites are giving you problems. You can look at FB without logging in, but you won't see your friends, photos, etc.
CF is a complete mess if I'm not logged in; lots of ads interspersed with everything.
