Okay, I probably missed the deadline, but here's one of my favorite shots. The Milky Way over the Bixby Bridge in Big Sur from a couple years ago. The moon looks very full but was actually just a sliver... the long exposure made it look much larger than it was. It took some Lightroom tweaks to bring out the Milky way because of all the light from the moon. I used a small LED flashlight to illuminate the bridge.
Taken with a Canon 7D and a Tokina 11-16 at F2.8. 25 second exposure at ISO 1600.
