Me too. They feel good, but kill your drive. And at best they just take the edge off the pain too.
That damn abscess had my temple throbbing. Felt like someone was driving a nail through my temple into my eyeball. Jeeze, that f'cker hurt. Went by my folks, and mom has like a bucket of hydrocodones (LOL), so I got a few.
Knocked the edge off enough where I could get some sleep.
This morning the swelling is way down.
