Brian Kelly is a really good coach.
Claypool is the only NFL caliber skill player Notre Dame has had recently, and he's not a burner. Big WR like an Alshon Jeffrey.
No coaching is going to overcome Notre Dame lacking the speed and talent at RB, WR, and DB that Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, etc. have.
It's a recruiting problem. I have no idea if the staff is bad at recruiting, or if the school, facilities, and location are the problem when it comes to those skill players.
