Garf's a Gubmint worker and their perspective of things is different. His job was safe during the last recession while I had to let 30% of my workforce go and worked for practically nothing for 2 years.  |
I employ union trades guys. their hourly rate is 58 beans an hour, benefits another 39. They get company trucks, tools, laptops of they do tech stuff, and pretty much unlimited overtime. I need skilled people, cant get them. Haven't been able for a couple of years. My top guy has made almost 200k in each of the last three years. That on the check, not including benefits
