I married the first time in '72 age 28 divorced by age 31 or so, met the Ex/kids mom in '77 at age 33/34 she left and took the kids when I was about 40-41 for no reason I can discern.....so I moved across the freeway to say close for the kids....by that time arthritis started in....this all in '90 or so, stuck it out till they old enough to fly by themselves and moved to Florida in '97.....
about two years later met Linda here.....now I am 71 pushing 72 in a second, and she is 64.....
I look back sometimes in the middle of the night, when awake and can't sleep and wonder that I blew it big time by not having a solid life plan with the first ex......the second ex was just a mistake all the way around......
at this point wife and I are just planning our funerals......not that anything is imminent that we KNOW of anyway.....just that time of life....Dad was 79, Mom was '94, wife's dad was in his mid 50's....smoking/cancer, her mom is 94 and stays here most days.....easy to get along with, just stares at the tube all day....deaf as a stone, I hate hollering at her, just not me...so it's hand signals....
