When I was shooting NRA High Power, two brothers and their families would shoot.

The younger brother would show up with his two sons and the one daughter. She was about 14 and shot quite well. ( nice young lady too) During any match, it was toss up on whether she would have high score ( out of the family) or her two brothers or Dad.

They all had their own "home built" AR-15. One week she showed up and her AR was all decorated up in pink furniture and "Hello Kitty" stickers. I asked her what was up with that. She said while giving her brothers the "evil eye" , "It's the only way I can keep them from shooting MY AR"

I used to help teach the new pistol shooters at my gun club. The women were much easier to teach as they would actually listen to what you said. It seems the "sticks and berries" created a "I already know everything" attitude when they didn't have a clue.
