This is not airborne as stated. It can survive on surfaces, as most Viruses, for a Short period of time and suspected to be spread up to 6 feet by a cough/sneeze.
Hand washing and a basic barrier mask should suffice, in as much as we know about it right now. However, Coronavirus is not a new virus, this is just a new strain. We can only assume the transmission is the same, although the long incubation period and transmission/contagious during periods of asymptotic presentation is atypical.
I truly hope this does not become a worse pandemic (already is). The high Morbidity/mortality of this virus is concerning. Holding my breath, no pun intended.
