She was a daily driver too. I was heading to work during a bad storm and took a detour thinking it would have been higher ground, turned a blind curve forgot about a dip, and basically wound up in a to foot deep pond. I was a little startled by the water rushing up over the nose and did not get it turned off in time and it sucked up water and stalled. By the time the tow truck got there, the water was around three feet deep.

Stereo & amp were FUBAR, Interior needed to be stripped and replaced, engine needed a LOT of work to get it back right again....it was going to cost me a fortune to get it back. I had spent close just shy of 25K putting in the ZZ4 crate motor, JET underdrive pulleys and computer, stereo/alarm, C4 body upgrade (it was an 85 with the 96 body kit), hood, paint, Lingenfelter injectors, ZR-1 wheels, etc. I loved the car, but was not willing to put as much $$$ into it as it needed...plus it gave me an excuse to finally get a C5 vert.
