He was 74. I only knew him a few years. I was on the County Civil Grand Jury with him for two years. He was an artist, I mean he made a living at it for real. He always said proudly that he had never been employed by anyone in his life. Very intelligent and interesting individual. I regret not having the good fortune to have met him earlier in life.
