The one single thing that could be done overnight to make at least a little change in the price of gas that nobody seems to mention is to simply get rid of the completely dumbass EPA mandated regional/seasonal blends.
...not to mantion the increased mileage that vehicles get when you take all of those bullsh*t additives out.
My truck is almost a full 20% better on mileage when I run no-additive diesel than when I run the moronic ecohippie blend.
