Greatest drummer thread, Who was that guy?
A while back someone had a thread about great musicians, at least I think thats what it was. Anyway there were many vids but one was an old black and white of a guy in glasses from sometime around 1950 just wailing on a big kit. I thought it was Gene Krupa but then I saw a picture of him and it wasnt him. Does anyone know who I am talking about? It wasn't Buddy Rich either. I think he may have been a Jazz musician? Not much to go on but maybe someone else remembers.
