A hydrogen bomb is an atomic bomb placed next to a source of hydrogen where the atomic blasts compresses the hydrogen - fussion. That process releases neutrons that are like the sun exploding in your hand. This thermonuclear explosion goes ka-boom! (Or essentially a 1000 booms all at once.)
