As thankful as I am that my Mom is safe, I’m heartbroken for those I know that lost everything and those that lost their lives. One families answered prayers was another’s worst nightmare.
My hubs and I, both being a part of Oklahomas medical reserve first responder team; mostly post tornadoes, I can imagine the horrors the rescue teams are getting ready to endure. I’ve seen things I wish I had never seen as those images will never be erased.
I feel the most sadness for those that couldn’t leave or the children that had no choice as their parents made the choice to stay. For those that chose to stay, I still feel for them as they probably thought this was going to be another “non event”.
Prayers for everyone still in this storms path.
