As some of you may know, I haul our water each week, using a 850 gallon tank on a trailer, that i then gravity drain to a buried cistern (2500 gallons), which in turn supplies the house. Normally 1 load a week suffices.
the tank drains via a 2 inch Cam lock fitting (male), and i have a 15 foot long hose that just barely reaches the cistern inlet. so for a Christmas present to myself, i bought a new 20 foot long hose, with the proper 2 inch female Cam lock fitting.
my package arrived yesterday, and this morning i opened the very large box to find a very nice 3 inch hose.....
ummm....that's not going to work boss. wrong size, wrong fitting on one end (male on discharge end, correct female on inlet end).
so back on Amazon to return and reorder the correct one.
the order was clearly for a 2 inch hose, but I guess someone in the warehouse can't tell 2 inches from 3 inches, so i got the wrong hose.
local return place is Kohls. who knew. drag it to them this morning, get a receipt, and the new one (proper one) should be here next week.
so what's your guess, guy or gal packed my order?
