My first thought as well. I had to lower the floats in the front carb on my '61 a little while ago because of flooding and stalling when the ambient air temps got into the 90's and the engine got to 205 or so after a short park and heat soak. With our ethanol fuels and their 140 degree boiling point, these cars can get finicky. I run points and condenser ignition in every old vehicle I own, as I have for over 45 years now, because I need the reliability. I've fixed too many failed modules and pick up coils to count in my life. Keep us posted!
Frank,
great to see you here!!!
