Mechanic reports strong gas smell. He started it up with starter spray. Found a gas leak at the carb and a problem with a vacuum hose.
MadInNC - It's stock as far as drive train but it has a lot of creature comforts and safety stuff added:
PS
PB
A/C
Leather seats
Teak wheel
DeWitts combo radiator and electric fan (like I said it was 100 degrees today <LOL>)
Electronic ignition
3-point seat belts
Head rests
I'll post more when I know more.
BTW, not a lot of activity in this forum but it seems like a nice place. I'm coming over from the Corvette Forum where I was a member for 10 years. Some other C1 and C2 guys are moving over here, too.
Take care,
Steve
