We paid our yearly $45.00 for our national park pass there yesterday.
We saw numerous wild horses, large shore birds, crabs, and various other animals like deer and the such.
It was well worth the $$.
If you are ever in Maryland, just south of Ocean City, I highly recommend a visit to Assateague National Seashore Island.
We went to Chincoteague a few years ago, just an overnight trip. In the morning, we did see wild horses, and watched the sunrise on the beach. Was pretty cool, and would like to go back for a few days.
