Some interesting things about the Veyron...

The tires last 3,000 miles and a replacement set is a 5 digit bill, not including shipping the wheels to the factory, the only place the tires can be mounted. Every third set of tires that goes on, go on new wheels, themselves a 5 digit bill.

The car records each 200+mph "event" and that data is retrieved during service and relayed back to the factory.

It will reach 198mph in a standing mile, but needs another mile to go that 55mph more to the top speed. Of course that second mile goes by in about 11 seconds...
