I agree with getting rid of all the elected officials and starting all over. Congress, both sides have completely lost touch with society as a whole. Democrats say no to anything the Republicans are for. Republicans say no to anything the Democrats say. No one is working together.
Both sides point the finger at the other and say "They did it!"
Presidents get the blame for decisions congress makes. Placing the blame of the current financial woes of the country squarely on Obama's shoulders is as silly as blaming Bush for Katrina or the September 11 attacks.
Our elected officials screw things up, place the blame on everyone else and move on trying to make sure they are re-elected. While the rest of us are sitting back hoping our jobs will be there tomorrow, they are voting themselves a pay raise.
I am far from being a Tea Party member but I do think we need to get rid of the majority of people in Washington and start using some common sense.
