My first day of BMT, 26 Jan 1983. A day I learned you can't disappear in the middle of a crowd. I had tried to go incognito mode by standing directly in the middle of the assembled dudes as we exited the bus on arrival. The T-I, known to many as a Drill Instructor, marched his happy ass right up to me. He then had me play "Pick it up, put it down" with my one piece of luggage. Fun times.
