Sad that people are so stupid these days.
My wife and I went out for Chinese tonight... takeout.
While we were waiting for our order; the only other people in the restaurant;
another patron pulled in to pick up a call in order. She approached the door and upon opening it she noticed us and turned to leave... I told her "I don't bite, and we will stay 6 feet from you; please come in. She thought a moment and decided it might be OK. We all went our separate ways but I was somewhat shocked that things have gotten so out of whack that sharing space has a taboo attached to it from ow on.
