So prove that it had an affect and/or that he
specifically made the payment to affect the election.
So many other reasons he could say he did it, because the timing was all up to Daniels, not Trump.
That's what the issue is with the indictment and why so many in Bragg's office are pleading with him to not embarrass them. Trump is basically begging to be arrested at this point so that he can basically shred them in court and make a mockery of the office, all while super energizing his base. That clown Bragg can't even tell when he's being played even though the rest of the country has seen Trump play this game so many times previously.
