Tried these tonight.
SUPER yummy! I changed the recipe up a little...I used whole wheat flour because that is what I have. I used half and half for the same reason. And I used panko. I tried it first but the breadcrumbs would not stick to the onions.
So I added an egg to the wet batter and I gave the panko a few quick pulses in the Magic Bullet. I wish I had added a touch more cayenne but other than that they were FANTASTIC!
BTW - Mine were done in just over 15 minutes.
