Yes, I was addressing the blanket statement that gas stations are closed during a mass evacuation = implying
prior to hurricane.
How do they ring up stuff?
sometimes they dont = free, helping other humans.
sometimes they just use their brains and do math in their head and sell goods.
Sometimes they close.
Sometimes they stay open, sell goods, while armed, and watching out for feral looters.
