My wife's 2015 RAV4 has been very reliable, it's both her DD and the vehicle we take on trips. Zero engine/transmission/rear-end/suspension issues.
Stupid frivolous electronic crap fails however. Bottom of touch screen failing, and guess where every button you need to press to set a destination pops up ?
Stupid power lift tailgate sensor goes bad and stops closing thinking there's an obstruction in the way when there isn't. Guess how much harder it is to manually open and close it when it's outfitted with that feature?
I'm waiting for a recession to buy a new truck, and when I do it's a crew cab with a bench seat up front and a V8 and that's it. Not spending any money for additional electronics features that WILL fail.
