To be honest..... the thought of raising funds for the kids here has passed through my mind a few times, but I did not want to seem like I had my hand out to the guys and gals here.
I am glad you also see the need..
If you get this thread started when the time comes, no one will even think twice about it..
I am all in for what I can do on this end, including tossing in a few bucks of my own.
I will wait and let you decide when to get this started, maybe this coming fall sometime? Sept, Oct?
I agree it is a great thing we can do for the little ones that would never get anything from Santa.. ever!! .. their family's simply can not afford..
As I mentioned in another thread awhile back..
I had asked my wife once years ago who never got anything as a child for Christmas, EVER! if she believed in Santa when she was a kid...
She simply replied.... yes, she did believe in Santa...
But she did not believe that he brought presents to the kids.
