I haven't been in a Chopper since 08, but I was in a Bell 206 Jetranger for my copter work. I'm the 'voice', I don't drive 'em. Been in a plane since then. Started in airplanes. I can fly them, but I'm not licensed. Almost 15 years of flying around, sure I have driven them and landed etc. I could EASILY get my ticket, just have no desire to do so. When you go to work all day in an aircraft, getting back in one for 'fun' is sort of not fun.
R44's are cool though, Robinson is even making a turbine copter now, the R66.
Never ridden in an R44, messed around in an R22 with a friend a few years ago, but going into that thing after coming out of a Jetranger was a bit...Odd.
