My ex inherited her father's '68 Camero this past week. He's 84 and no longer drives it so he decided it was time to give it to her.
He purchased it sans engine and installed a 327. I've been trying to decipher exactly what options the car came with off the VIN and Cowl Tag - and what 327 he put in the thing based on the engine stamp.
It was built on the second week of November, 1968 a the Norwood Assembly Plant and shipped from the factory in Ermine White. it also appears to have the correct interior. The rally wheels and bumblebee stripe also appear to be correct.
He's entered it in local car shows and has taken a trophy or two with it. While it's not what I'd call concourse condition, I'd say it's excellent.
She's a bit of a car nut herself and has owned two Cameros, one of which was a 2015 2SS/426HP/Manual.
