I was just watching the Expedia 'All By Myself' commercial with the androgynous helpful person and they were of course using chopsticks to eat their chop suey. IRL I've never seen anyone use anything but regular utensils to consume their Chinese food. Is this some kind of haughty NYC/Hollywood thing or what?
