Anyhoo... the ****in' thing is only worth $8k. Now what?

Should I order it wrenched on?

Or should I go purchase a new cheap Toyota Rav4 or some shit? Wife only drives this thing when there's snow on the streets. Roughly 1500 miles per year.

New would be nice since I'm the one that always has to deal with maintenance/break downs and the such.

RX is 12 years old, 130,000 miles, and meticulously maintained but I know there's plenty to go wrong moving forward and my wrencher is a good 7 minute drive from the house.

What say you?

$1500 is a lot less than a new Rav4. 130k is nothing on a Lexus. I'd just fix it.
