a good and successful protest has a few key elements. you state a moral case about what you want done. you enlist support of those in power. you show the ones in charge to be unreasonably oppressive. all these are things that Gandhi and King understood and did.

but this crowd.....other than blathering about "rights", i don't know what they want changed other than they don't like Trump. well, i didn't like Obama. but not getting your way in a fairly contested election is not a good basis for a protest. it's just crying. and that doesn't solve anything.
