Next time we meet, you can check out mine. I went with the Autometer pod, I got it at Jegs. So I didn't have the gap at the windshield I heated it up with a hair dryer, drilled holes and mounted it to the original A pillar.
I don't think it is ricey, I have had many comments asking if it is stock.
